Hillis-Carnes Attends ARCO’s First Charity Cornhole Tournament
CMT Division Manager, Chris Hillis, P.E. and Project Engineer, Ryan Burke, of our Corporate Headquarters, participated in ARCO’s first charity cornhole tournament last week, called “Bags and Brews.” The event was held at the Checkerspot Brewing Company in Baltimore, Maryland, where firms in the construction industry came together to support a local fundraiser. Hillis-Carnes sponsored a cornhole board for this event, and 100% of the funds raised, were matched by ARCO and donated to a local charter school, City Springs Elementary. The funds donated went directly towards school supplies and technology. Not only was this event for a great cause, but it was an excellent opportunity to get back out in the community and safely network with others from our industry while having a little fun. Speaking of fun, we’re happy to announce that Chris and Ryan came in first place in their group and second place in the overall tournament! Thank you, ARCO, for putting together such an amazing event!
