Hillis-Carnes Welcomes CMT Project Manager Nathainail Bashir, Ph.D.

Mr. Nathainail Bashir, Ph.D., has joined our Corporate Headquarters office in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, as a CMT Project Manager.  Nathainail brings with him over seven years of experience in various aspects of Construction Materials Testing and Inspections, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, Geological Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.

Nathainail holds a Ph.D. in Geological Engineering and master’s degrees in Geology and Geophysics, as well as Information Technology from Missouri University of Science and Technology. His technical expertise includes performing geotechnical site investigations, deep foundation design, pavement evaluation and design, slope stability assessments, construction materials quality assurance/control (QA/QC), environmental impact and site assessments, and retaining structures, soils, earthworks, and foundations. Nathainail also has experience in subsurface drilling operations/borehole logging, engineering geological investigations and mapping, as well as performing seismic and earth electrical resistivity surveys.

Nathainail is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and with his extensive experience and educational background, we are very excited to have him on board and look forward to the expertise he will be contributing to Hillis-Carnes and our corporate headquarters!
